DOOR WARRANTY
Wood naturally expands and/or contracts as a direct result of varying temperatures and humidity conditions.
This process may cause some warping of doors. Homestead Custom Cabinetry allows a tolerance of 1/8” warp on single panel doors under 24” wide and 48” high, and a _” warp on double panel doors under 24” wide and 72” high. Homestead will not guarantee doors larger than the above-specified sizes. “Flat” panel doors and “Frame Only” doors may warp slightly more than “Raised Panel” doors.
Mitered doors are not warranted against joint separations that occur as a result of high humidity or moisture conditions. A painted finish is not recommended due to the wood’s natural expansion and contraction.
Fine quality veneered panels are used in all of our flat panel doors. While veneered panels are warranted to be of similar color and consistency, we cannot match these panels with solid wood framing. Stain color may appear slightly different on veneered panels.
